４月中にメタボ健診標準プログラム公表！

日本医事新報２００７年３月３１日号によれば、３月２６日に厚労省の「標準的な健
診・保健指導の在り方に関する検討会」が開かれ、標準プログラム（確定版）がまとまっ
たという。この標準プログラムは４月上旬の厚科審健康増進栄養部会に報告された後に、
４月中に都道府県説明会で公表される予定だ。１６年度国民健康・栄養調査などから推計
すると、特定保健指導の対象者数は約1４００万人とか・・・
メタボの第一人者松澤佑次先生の話では「患者さんを薬浸けにするのではなく、医療
の中で生活支援をすることで疾病を一網打尽にしようという」のがメタボリックシンドロ
ームの概念だそうだ。
メタボ健診はもはや国民運動のようになりつつあるが、朝日新聞４月２日号には「子
供にメタボ基準」という記事も掲載されている。男女ともウエスト８０ｃｍ以上を赤信号
とし、そのうえで血圧125〜70ｍｍＨｇ以上、血糖値100ｍｇ/ｄｌ以上、中性脂肪120ｍ
ｇ/ｄｌ以上・ＨＤＬコレステロール値４０ｍｇ/ｄｌ未満のうち２項目以上にあてはまった
子を「小児メタボリック症候群」としている。子供にメタボ概念をあてはめるにはまだま
だ賛否両論あるだろうが、メタボいじめが学校内でも起こらないことを願いたいものであ
る。
